Hi, I’m Beth, the heart behind Porchlight Studios. As a mom and passionate photographer, I know how fleeting and precious life’s moments are. My love for photography began years ago, but it was the loss of my own mom at a young age that inspired me to turn my passion into a mission. I realized how much I treasure every photo I have with her, and how much I wish I had more. That’s why I created Porchlight Studios to help you capture timeless memories with the ones you love most. Life is too short to miss out on those irreplaceable moments. Whether it’s a family portrait, a milestone celebration, or a simple day filled with love, I’m here to freeze those memories in beautiful, heartfelt photos. At Porchlight Studios, I specialize in capturing the tender, fleeting moments of newborns, the joyful energy of children, and the love that binds families together. With my background as a nurse caring for babies in the NICU and newborn nursery and as a mom of three, I bring a gentle touch and an understanding of how to make every session comfortable and fun. My time as a school nurse in a local elementary school deepened my love for connecting with children. From the tiniest newborn details to a child's infectious laughter, or a family's warm embrace, I’m here to create stunning photos that tell your unique story and become cherished keepsakes for years to come.
