For twenty years, I have dedicated my life to caring for children, spending eighteen of those years holding, soothing, and caring for sweet babies in hospital nurseries, followed by time as a school nurse, and raising three wonderful children of my own. I bring a lifetime of experience, professional expertise, and true motherly intuition to every session, ensuring your baby is safe, comfortable, and deeply cared for.
Your baby's safety, comfort, and pace always come first. My sessions are unhurried and baby-led, so I can capture those fleeting first moments while keeping everyone calm and cared for.

Why does a nursing background matter for newborn photos?
Newborns need gentle handling, safe positioning, and patience. My years in the NICU, special care nursery, and newborn nursery mean I understand babies and bring that same calm, attentive care to your session.
When should I book?
Reach out during your second or third trimester to reserve your spot. Closer to your due date? No worries, just send me a message. For classic, mostly sleeping posed newborn photos, I ideally aim for under 2 weeks of age. For more awake, expressive shots, I recommend milestone sessions at 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, or 12 months.
How do I prepare for my session?
After you book a newborn session with me, I will send you a guide with helpful tips including anything you may want to bring along for your session.
What do I need to bring?
Just the baby, milk, and a diaper bag. I provide everything else. I have wraps, props, outfits, and a warm studio.
What if my baby won't stop crying?
I spent nearly two decades soothing infants in high stress environments. My sessions run two to four hours so that there's always time for feeding, fussy moments, and diaper changes.
Can siblings be included?
You bet! I would love to capture pictures of your beautiful family.
